About BIBM

Our Mission

BIBM is the voice of the precast concrete industry at European level. Whether responding to broad EU developments (such as directives or policy decisions) or to specific national challenges, BIBM serves as the key platform through which the industry can address issues of European relevance.

BIBM provides a forum for professionals, experts, and industrial stakeholders across the precast concrete value chain to collaborate on shared priorities. Through its commissions and ad-hoc working groups, it fosters the exchange of experience, knowledge, and best practice.

BIBM also contributes to the development of global strategies and draws on international experience that can be applied at national or local level to support the promotion and advancement of the precast concrete industry.

BIBM is the natural European representative of the precast concrete industry

BIBM is mandated by its members to act as their natural link to European public authorities and construction stakeholders. This includes decision-makers within the European institutions (the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union), standardisation bodies (CEN, EOTA and notified bodies), as well as other European trade and non-profit organisations.
